Certified Sommelier, Jaimie Puckett, oversees The University Club Providence beverage program, curating an evolving wine list, food pairings, dessert menu, and leading the acclaimed Wine Society. For the past two years, Jaimie has also organized an active calendar of Wine Dinners featuring renowned producers, wine tastings with access to select and rare wines, educational programs, and more.
As an ambitious wine professional who graduated from the College of Business at Johnson & Wales University in 2017, Jaimie took the wine world by storm; demonstrating success in food & beverage sales and management, hospitality, and marketing. Before overseeing the UClub’s beverage program, she held positions across New England at restaurants with distinguished wine programs like The Dorrance, Eataly Boston and Bar Boulud Boston within the Mandarin Oriental Hotel where she was awarded the StarChefs Rising Star Sommelier award in 2020.
Jaimie is an advocate for esoteric and classic wines alike with a yearning to continue learning through new experiences and opportunities. After falling deeply in love with the world of wine, she’s found herself on an exhilarating journey that she’s both convinced and hopeful will never end.
