Nick Daddona is the New England Manager for WineBid, the leading online auction house for the sale and acquisition of fine wine. His passion for wine developed in restaurants; first while working with Sandy Block – Master of Wine, at Legal Seafoods, and subsequently while heading the beverage programs at some of Boston’s most influential restaurants and hotels, particularly Deuxave, Boston Chops and the Boston Harbor Hotel. He has passed the rigorous Advanced Sommelier exam of the Court of Master Sommeliers and is a board member emeritus of the Boston Sommelier Society. He has been featured in publications including the Boston Globe with Ellen Bhang, jancisrobinson.com and Stephen Tanzer’s Winophilia. He is also the founder of WineKey, a company dedicated to connecting wine and people through hospitality. Nick’s happiest moments come when traveling and exploring wine regions with his wife Lauren, also an accomplished sommelier and wine professional.
