Chris Cordeiro is the Corporate Chef of Sid Wainer & Son, located in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He oversees customer tasting experiences, recipe creation, food styling, and helps in the development of new, exciting products exclusively for Sid Wainer.
A Florida native, Chris traveled north to attend Johnson & Wales Universities’ Providence campus, where he Graduated Magna Cum Laude with an AS in Culinary Arts. Upon concluding college, Chris spent 10 years working in top fine dining establishments throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Alongside some incredible chefs, Chris studied an array of global cuisines and techniques.
Two years ago, Chris joined the team at Sid Wainer & Son. Having been a customer for many years, Chris now has the opportunity to educate the culinary world about the ingredients he had used throughout his restaurant career. He lives in the New Bedford area with his wife Laverne. They are expecting their first child late summer of this year.
